This is no run-of-the-mill Italian white wine. We get excited about finds like this because undiscovered wines of this caliber are all too rare. The Vezzo is a lovely dry wine with ripe, luscious, mixed citrus flavors. It is appealing enough to please any palate, yet complex enough to reward repeated tastings. Try it with a few different dishes and you'll see what we mean.
Staff Pick Notes
I have reached my breaking point so I will re-iterate this just one more time. PRICE DOES NOT DICTATE QUALITY! If you would like to pay $20 for an easy drinking white wine, that you think is perfect for any occasion, than go ahead. I don’t think any proprietor would stop you from spending more many, but you simply don’t have to. This wine is crisp, clean with a touch of dryness on the end. It sparks the palate for food during cocktail hour, pleases people at any gathering, and is genuinely friendly to anyone who is sick of over paying for wine. You wouldn’t believe the sour looks I get when they see the price tag; “$5, really? I don’t want my wine to taste cheap.” Cheap yes, low quality no! I would say it is worth a shot, because worst case scenario, you spent $5 as opposed to $20. And if you do like it, well, I know a good broker.
